The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Capital One (McLean, VA) in Mar 2011
Interview
The process was fairly simple and so are the interviews. The 1st round interview was waived, so i completed a personality assessment and an IQ assessment somewhat like the SATs (math/verbal). I passed that and was invited to Superday at the McLean, VA office. The day consisted of 2 cases, 1 behavioral, Lunch, and a tour of the McLean office.
1st Interview: Ferry boat, really simple and straight forward. This is where I messed up because I wanted to be thorough and ask questions about what impacted profitability. I thought that i did fairly well and in fact would have continue to do so if I wasn't informed by a recruiter that, it was my first interview. Come to think about while I ask asking questions the interviewer did seem pretty red. So I would after first two questions, i should have just given him my hunch and that would have made things easier. It's definitely not like the traditional McKinsey case--much more straightforward.
2nd Interview: This case was a little more challenging. This was regarding credit card processing. This is where i thought i messed up towards the end because I didn't understand the interviewer's question, but was informed that i actually did well on this case. Again, straight forward just understand the credit card business.
Interview questions [2]
Question 1
Tell me about about a time you went beyond your responsibilities?
The interviewer was friendly he asked me Quantitative questions on a streaming platform, too much math involved. I did not reach the answer though the interviewer tried to help so got the rejection.

I thought I did really well, but they emailed me back in a few hours, rejecting me. This was for the online test before the power day, and they didn't even give me a score.
Phone interview and then a follow up email regarding mini case interview. Then there would be final interview process. Recruiter reached out via Linkedin to schedule phone interview and scheduled a mini case interview
