      Application

I applied through a staffing agency. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Capgemini Invent (London, England) in Sept 2014

      Interview

Contacted through a recruitment agent, so didn't apply directly. 2 interviews - first was a straight interview lasting about 45 mins, second was 3.5 hour role play plus interview. The role play included reading a brief, conducting a client interview, creating a written bid proposal, and presenting to senior management followed by Q&A. Then the role play ended and we went into a straight interview. The first interview was strange as the interviewer stopped asking questions after 15 minutes and wanted to see what questions I would ask. I found out later this was because he was convinced I was ok and wanted to test me. The second interview was more straight forward - good opportunity to build rapport with the interviewers through the role play process. They don't give much feedback in the interviews, but gave yes/no through the recruitment agent within a couple of days on both interviews - both within the timeframe they promised in the interviews.

      Question 1

I want to hear what kind of questions you want to ask (from the first interview, after 15 minutes including introductions!)

      Application

I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Capgemini Invent (London, England) in Apr 2018

      Interview

Applied through an agency. Phone, followed by personal interview, including case study and presentation. One of the panel members was eating his lunch during the interview. At that time I thought this is part of the test, they try to throw me off-balance. Then they offered me the job but for 25% less than the salary in the vacancy notice. The agency tried to provide some nonsensical explanation on grading or whatnot. I am not sure it was the agency or Capgemini, but it was disgusting. I probably made a mistake honestly admitting that I am looking for a new job because my old one will disappear due to restructuring. This might led them to believe that I will blindly accept anything because I am under pressure. In retrospect, I think slurping a soup during my presentation was not a planned action, but mere incompetence.

Needed to solve a case study and present the solution.
