Interview
It was a walk-in interview on a Saturday. More than 350 people were there for various other domains. I had applied for SAP FICO Consultant. The Process of interview was really bad. The HR was struggling to get panel to interview us. There was 2 technical rounds. Both were on call. First interview was for an hour. Second was for 20 minutes. Overall the interview was difficult. HR team was completely disorganized.

Question 1
They asked me to explain how document splitting works in New GL. I told them that document splitting is used to create balanced financial statements at the segment or profit center level. I explained how we define splitting rules and characteristics in customizing, and how the system automatically splits the accounting entries based on those rules. I also mentioned a case from my project where we activated document splitting to enable segment-wise reporting for legal and management purposes. The interviewer wanted to know how we handled zero balancing, so I explained how the system generates additional line items to ensure each segment is balanced
