I applied through university. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Capgemini Engineering (New Delhi) in Aug 2017
Interview
I appeared for an on-campus interview with Aricent. It had 3 rounds.
First was an online test. It had several sections based on your stream. It included aptitude, verbal, logical and coding sections for all. And since I was an ECE student, it had a complete section on 8085 microprocessor and an electronics section. I found this round very easy and was selected for the next round.
The next round was technical round and it was very long (exactly 1.5hrs) as I was the first candidate to go inside. The interviewer asked me several questions regarding digital electronics, microprocessors, and a sorting algorithm. I would say that the interviewer was friendly and he also offered me water at the beginning of the interview when I was nervous. He made me feel comfortable and it became easy for me to tell him what I know and what I don't know. Basically, I want to say here that he started with antenna questions which I am not comfortable with, so it was easy for me to tell him.
After I was selected in technical, the third round was the HR round. It started with the usual "Tell me about yourself". Then she asked me about my family, my preferred job locations, weaknesses etc.
Both technical and HR rounds ended with "Do you want to ask something". Don't say "NO" here. It creates a bad impression. And one more advise, they have three job locations in India and there is a 90% chance that you will get your first preference. But don't be rigid here that you don't want to relocate to a new place. One of my friends was rejected for this.
3 interviews, 2 technical and 1 hr. Medium leetcode. Hr was good to know about the team and company culture. Did not upfront discuss comp for the role. Project detail was not discussed but team detail was good
I applied through a staffing agency. I interviewed at Capgemini Engineering (Madrid)
Interview

Interview
The interview was straightforward and easy to navigate. It focused mainly on basic programming concepts and aptitude questions. The interviewer carefully evaluated both syntax accuracy and logical thinking. Overall, it was a fundamental-level assessment designed to test core programming knowledge and problem-solving skills.
