I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Canadian Tire (Toronto, ON) in Jan 2023
Interview
One case study that was sent by email, one interview with the associate manager and then another interview with the associate manager and the managers of the category, questions about experience and future projects
Great experience. I arrived and was interviewed by one manager where they asked me a lot of situational type questions. Overall a positive experience and would recommend practicing recalling extreme situations where to succeeded or experienced adversity in the workforce.
I applied only and got an interview with the Category Manager for Tire. Didn't know it was for the Tires category since they didn't specify in the job posting, otherwise I wouldn't have applied. As a girl who doesn't drive and have very limited knowledge on tires and stuff I made up a bunch of random stuff in the interview. Maybe that was why I failed

Any recommendations on merchandising for tires online and in stores.
I interviewed at Canadian Tire (Calgary, AB) in Apr 2024
Interview
The interview went well. It was pretty standard, with basic questions asking about myself and my past experiences. However, I got ghosted, and I never heard back, not even to tell me I didn't get the position after the interview.
