Interview
2 interviews with hiring manager and senior engineer. Few technical questions, took around 1 hr. Lots of Behavioural questions with star strategy strategy. Positive overall interview experience. Got an offer but was lower than market at that time.
One interview with an Excel data test, which involves finding anomalies and trends (they will inform you beforehand if you have a test during your interview). Use a pivot table to solve the 3 questions asked. Interviewers were nice, but I was ghosted after the reference check, even after following up with HR. Super unprofessional behaviour, a simple we've moved forward with somebody else message would've sufficed

Question 1
1. What is the mission statement, and how does it resonate with you?
2. Have you ever had to explain something complex to shareholders who might not have technical knowledge? How would you do it?
3. Where do you see yourself in 5-10 years?
Pretty basic questions, as the technical knowledge was going to be tested through the Excel test

Interview
Applied online. Got called about a few weeks later to set up an interview. Interview was over the phone with the HR advisor and the team manager. Questions were some technical fundamentals and behavioral. Was informed that I will be contacted in about a week. Two weeks pass and radio silence. I send an email to ask about the process and was informed that they still need more time. Two more weeks pass and I ask again and was told the decision should be made in the following week. Another month pass and still nothing. At this point I have accepted that I didn’t get the position but the HR would not even spend 5 minutes to write an email to all the candidates especially considering the two follow ups.
Pretty negative experience. Basically lied to my face repeatedly.
