I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at CampGroup in Aug 2024
Interview
This job was posted in an outdoor jobs Facebook group and I applied by email. About a week later, I heard back and was invited to interview. The interviewer was a no-show for our Zoom call. We rescheduled for the next week. The interview went great and I moved on to the next round of interviews. That interview also went great! A couple weeks later (now about a month and a half since I originally applied), they kind of offered me the job? The job was posted as fully remote but they changed their minds and wanted me to do a trial run for a few weeks to see if remote work would actually be a good fit. I said yes because I was still stoked about the job and they connected me with a camp director to do some remote work with for this few week "trial run." I ended up doing this contract work with them for about 3 months and then was ghosted. After I began the "trial run" doing contracted work, I never heard about the original job again. At least I got paid for the work that I did...

Question 1
I don't remember specific questions, but I was asked about my knowledge and experience with summer camps, social media, and marketing.

Interview
Very easy going, more behavior questions then technical. They more so want to get to know you and your background. Didn't mater to much about having experience in the field, as long as accounting was a major or minor.
I submitted a resume through internships.com, then a couple weeks later I received an unexpected call at 9AM and had a phone interview lasting aprox 45 minutes. The interviewer was extremely prying, asked far too many technical questions based on what the position was, and seemed very pissed off that he had to interview me. He was overly aggressive and put me off about the company. Apparently, the feeling was mutual, as I never got a call back.

Question 1
I was asked the typical "what is your greatest weakness" question. I answered honestly, and then the interviewer aggressively threw my answer back in my face, asking if my references would complain about the weakness I mentioned.
