I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at California Conservation Corps (Sacramento, CA) in Jul 2015
Interview
My first interview consisted of a walk through of the headquarters which lasted around 20 minutes. After the tour, I was asked to write and print out a memo in under 20 minutes based off a prompt they provided. The prompt asked for me to write a memo to the kitchen staff on how to make a pb&j sandwich. I was told to write it in whatever tone I liked. Once I finished the task, they handed me a paper with all the questions I would be asked during the interview. They suggested I write my answers on it, and told me they would be collecting the paper after the interview. I was allowed 10 to 15 minutes to review the questions and prepare for the interview. The actual interview was with the manager and 2 members of the team. They stuck to the script of questions that were handed to me. I was asked to return for a second interview that was exactly the same but there was no tour and the skills test was more elaborate. I had to create a spreadsheet on excel based on a more detailed prompt. I was allotted 40 minutes to create it, along with another written memo. Afterwards I sat down with the manager once again and two other team members that hadn't interviewed me the last time.
I applied through other source. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at California Conservation Corps (Fairfield, CA) in May 2023
Interview
Easy, worked there before just called and asked if this position was still available. Got hired the following month, no interview due to previous experience with the California conservation corps
