I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at California Casualty (Overland Park, KS) in Mar 2020
Interview
Applied online and had an initial phone interview. They asked a couple STAR related questions. They then needed 5 work references which those people had to fill out stuff online and send back. Then you have an in person interview with 3 managers. The head of claims was 1 of the managers that sat in on the interview and asked questions. He was unprofessional and even cussed a few times during the interview. They ask STAR related questions and job specifics.

Tell me about a time when you had to make a difficult decision
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at California Casualty
Interview
The interview process went well up until the interview with management. The regional manager was unprofessional. I did not receive an offer but I would not have accepted regardless. What they were looking for in a candidate vs their pay range was unacceptable and many of their practices were outdated. The position as the management described it was high expectations with low pay with inadequate tools. If you are looking to get your foot in the door in insurance right out of school it may be an adequate starter job but don't stay there long.
