Interview
The interview took about 4 hrs and in general it went well. The interviewers are reasonable and asked realistic and relevant questions. Meet with solid engineer that deal with cutting edge design. To me Cadence is expending and they sincerely attracting talents.

Questions were based on what I wrote in the resume. And approaches to solve issue and to a certain degree the "philosophy" of how to resolve difficult issue.

Interview
I traded texts with the hiring manager, which led to meeting him in a casual setting in a cafe. Our goals aligned well enough that the meeting led to a set of technical screens in the office. Each team member asked a different question on place and route, and the AE role. We touched on timing closure, tcl, DRC closure.

Pretty smooth. There are 5 or 6 people I talked with. Most of them are from the AE supporting this product. Most questions are conceptual. No real scripting or tcl related questions.
