I applied through an employee referral. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at CVS Health (San Jose, CA) in Aug 2009
Interview
I had a friend working as a pharmacy technician at this particular CVS for the last 5 years. It made the interview process extremely easy; all the pharmacy manager did was talk to me for about 5 minutes just to make sure I wasn't a complete idiot. Other than that, it was a piece of cake.
I applied online. I interviewed at CVS Health (San Francisco, CA)
Interview
Very basic questions were asked. It was a very standard interview. Only one round of interviews was conducted. Around 2-3 questions were asked about your previous work history and relevant work experience.

Tell me about yourself, explain a difficult situation and what you have done to resolve it.
I applied online. I interviewed at CVS Health (Irvine, CA) in Jul 2021
Interview
I had a 1:1 in-person interview with the Pharmacy Manager. There were a good amount of scenario questions, such as "tell me about a time you worked in a fast-paced environment." Overall, it was relaxed and professional.

Question 1
Tell me about a time you had to handle a difficult customer.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at CVS Health in Feb 2013
Interview
Referred by a current employee whom I gave my resume. Received a voice mail, called back and set up an interview. Interviewed a few days later, fairly standard questions about work/education experience. Was told at the interview I would be hired upon completion of a drug test and background check. Setting up and handling the test took a few days, and I started at the next available training week.

Question 1
This was a low-paid, entry-level position so I was not quite expecting the "Where do you see yourself in 5 years" question. Absolutely standard question but it was about the only one that gave me pause.
