Most important part: Firstly if you are an experienced , talented professional then the first thing you should do is to get clear about the compensation part . I repeat do get clear about this topic before starting the selection process because it's going to be too lengthy. If you see that they are agreeing with your expected salary then trust me there is 10000% chance that they are going to offer you half of that. I faced this situation. Before starting the interview process they agreed with my expectations, even in the 1st round they asked me about my ECTC and confirmed that its good to go. And then after clearing all the 4-5 rounds , which took almost 3 weeks they told me that we don't have this much budget, then they bargain like the "sabji bazaar wala" type. If you are reading this, think that God is giving you the hint! Please be careful and don't fall in their trap, otherwise either they will waste your time or you will be left with penny in the name of offer letter. Rather you join some new startup or join some other domain company whatever you like. Now after getting clear about the budget and all if you feel okay, then you can continue the selection process.
