I had 3 separate interviews, incl. one with direct manager, one with her manager, and one with another team that I would be working closely with. Getting interviews scheduled was difficult as the primary contact was slow to coordinate times with the others in the organization.
Once I had completed all 3 interviews, the recruiter I was working with told me that all 3 meetings resulted in terrific feedback and that an offer was in the works. After waiting a couple of days with no update, he and I followed up with them & were told it was hung-up in the approval process but that it was coming.
Finally, a week after my final interview & after being told that a written offer was on the way, the direct manager suddenly emailed the recruiter & told them they'd gone with an internal candidate. An internal candidate none of us knew was even being considered.
I'm certainly glad that I was waiting for the written before putting my notice at my current job. I will never take another call or interview with Clearesult again, and I advise all other potential job seekers to beware. Just because they say they like you and go so far as to lead you to believe you've got the job, they may not mean it at all.
Get it in writing before even thinking about trusting these people.
