CIRES interview questions

First interview was a quick 15 minute virtual chat where each team member (6) asked a question. Questions pertained to my previous experience, my availability, and current projects. The team was kind and professional and the experience was overall positive.

After applying, there was a brief Skype interview. They told me about the CIRES/NOAA arrangement and the benefits/challenges associated with it. They asked why I wanted to work there and my availability. Then I was selected for a formal interview, which was a series of virtual interviews (COVID, I presume) and a seminar. It took about half a day.
