I applied online. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at CIBC World Markets (Calgary, AB) in Jan 2013
Interview
Two interviews:
1st interview - questions asked regarding previous work experience, about any stressful situations encountered etc.
2nd interview - asked about the price of oil, CAD.
Overall it was an intimidating experience as all the individuals on the trading floor were men with years of knowledge and experience

Question 1
Tell us about a time you used excel or vba on a project?
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at CIBC World Markets (Toronto, ON) in Jan 2016
Interview
I got the first round of interview and it was with the managers from the trading floor and they were all very nice. Apparently the position usually only hire 3rd year students. However, the interviewer told me I still stand a very fair chance if I can prove my technical skills. The behavioural part was very straight forward. E.g. conflict management, past experiences, etc. But then I bombed the technical part.
