The process took 2 days. I interviewed at CIBC in Mar 2010
Interview
I applied on a wednesday, got called up on a thursday and offered the job on a friday. First interview was on the phones and it lasted for about an hour and the main gist of it all was about how i met sales targets and managed different computer applications.
2nd interview was a face to face interview and the interviewer already gave me sample questions tht would be asked on the interview day. like: describe a time when you had to go over and beyond to help a xo; how do you adjust to changing targets? etc

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at CIBC (Vancouver, BC) in Nov 2020
Interview
Had meeting and spoke with branch manager before job posting, told to apply to job posting and do phone screening. Received call from recruiter without confirming call time with me beforehand. Did not have time to talk in depth as I was heading out to work, spoke for a few minutes and she said I didn't have enough experience. Recruiter didn't want to schedule follow up afterwards to have a in depth conversation on my skills and experience. Strange encounter to say the least.
