I applied online. I interviewed at CBX Solutions (Phoenix, AZ) in Feb 2026
Interview
Two interviews, first one is a brief phone call with HR to make sure you fit the company. Basic questions. Second interview was in person. Two employees interviewed me but questions were all over the place, stopped to have conversations they only knew about in the middle of the interview.

Interview
I had one phone screening/interview where I shared my salary requirements and the job description was given to me. The person who interviewed me was very nice and informative. She did tell me some things about the job that were wrong but overall, it was pleasant.
My second interview was over the phone and leading up to that point was a little underwhelming. The branch manager initially called me, asked me questions and seemed very dis-interested in me. He was very negative and placed the tone that he had already ruled me out and calling me was a formality. In this interview he gave me more details of the job and asked my salary requirements, which I shared for a second time and it was consistent with the first. Keep in mind he called more than once and didn't leave a voicemail either time. I had to call back and chase him down. After a week later than he told me, we scheduled an in person interview with other team members.
The in person interview was better. I had met the branch manager and two sales people. All of the team members seemed nice, professional and asked very good questions. During the interview I felt all questions were asked on their end as well as mine. I asked what was next and was told that I would be contacted by the end of the week. The end of the week came about and I was scheduled for a second in person interview which they classified as a personality fit.
I did the interview with the branch manager again as well as two different team members. I felt the interview went well and it was informative for both them and myself. I felt good about the interview and asked at the end when I can expect a response and I was told early next week.
An entire week passed and I had not been called or emailed. I sent an email expressing my interest and asking for an update. I had the general manager email me back and tell me that he couldn't pay me my discussed salary because I don't have experience with their company specific software, which no one would had they not worked for that company. I replied stating that what we had discussed is what I need and the branch manager didn't have the decency to call or email me back. I emailed, called and texted to just try and get an answer.
Overall, I am glad that it didn't work out. If a company is that lazy and cannot express any sort of commitment or serious interest in you, imagine how it would be working for them?

Phone interview then in person. Everyone was very nice and there was a lot of communication. overall they are the best group that I have ever met with for that reason alone.
