I applied online. I interviewed at CBRE (Irvine, CA) in Jan 2017
Interview
Relatively standard interview, 3 person panel. Asked about my previous experience in the industry and how I can relate it to an analyst role. Some challenging questions regarding the way I plan to bring value to the company, my adaptability and autonomy. All interveiwers were cordual and did their best to help me feel comfortable.
The conversation was smooth and comfortable. The interviewer clearly explained the role and benefits, asked straightforward questions, and created a welcoming environment that made the interaction easy and professional throughout the interview process.
The interview touched a lot on real estate law, key terms, and specific industry knowledge. Very doable for people with an RE background but I imagine it would be difficult for those who do not have that.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at CBRE (Manila, Manila) in Feb 2025
Interview
The interview process was good. You start with the HR interview (online), then the department's head (online). Might take a while to hear back from them, especially if you have a lot of competition. But if they like you, you'll be directed to the country manager (f2f, for me). Be yourself and be honest.
