Terrible company and a terrible process.
Their interview process lasted for weeks and looked like it would continue for months.
first meeting with HR.
Second technical round with two QAs
Third Another technical round with the manager
Fourth, another technical round with developers.
Fifth chat call.
Right before the chat call, the HR called and told me that she got a positive review and would hear back within 3 days. On the third day, when I called, the HR didn't tell me anything; instead, she told me there would be a chat call with the lead.
The worst thing is this: I was told that the chat call was to talk about next steps, but on the chat call, I was told that they no longer have this position as they got a no from the management regarding the position, and I still see a new job posting for the same position, but the one to which I applied got expired.
I don't know why they did that. When they continued to schedule these never-ending interviews, what was going through their heads?
Didn't they know they didn't need this position?
Carfax should give some value and respect to the interviewee's time and effort.
Please do this before scheduling an interview. Ask your so-called higher authority if they are willing to hire for this position.
