I applied through a staffing agency. I interviewed at CAMP (New York, NY)
Interview
I was interviewed by the co-founder Nikki a while ago. I could tell as soon as she saw me that I had no chance, I think she was expecting someone younger. What stood out was how she kept looking at her Apple watch during the process.
A few days later I received the confirmation I needed when the recruiter got back to me with feedback from Nikki. Her comment was that I didn't have enough experience in FP&A, when literally that is what I had been doing for more than 15 years.
In my opinion, I was discriminated against because of my age.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at CAMP (New York, NY) in Aug 2019
Interview
Interview Process consisted of 3 interviews, with CEO, VP Of Culture, and Director of Operations. Also a panel interview with Leaders from the Product Buying Team, Store GM's and Creative Departments. In addition there was a "Take Home Test" with scenarios based on employee relations and store operation incidents. These were primarily focused to get cultural and empathy indicators from the candidate.
