Worst interview process I have ever encountered. I applied online and was contacted by their in-house recruiter by email. The email was literally just the same questions about my previous experience that were on their application, and all of which were easily verified by skimming my resume. Then I had a phone screen, where the recruiter read the exact same questions verbatim and did not have any more specific information about the role or timeline. After multiple communications back and forth with the recruiter to obtain availability, I was finally able to connect via video with the hiring manager. The hiring manager who was hiring for a different role than the one I applied for, and the hiring manager who once again asked the exact same questions that were in the application.

I received the interview invitation for the Product Operations position via LinkedIn. The first interview was smooth, and I received feedback about a week later, considering there was a holiday period in between. However, the second interview, conducted by the Beijing department, was quite disappointing. The interviewer mentioned I would receive feedback within a week, but it has been much longer, and I haven’t received any update. Overall, the communication after the second round felt unprofessional and unclear.
