I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Buro Happold (London, England) in Mar 2025
Interview
A Microsoft Teams video call where Buro Happold went through the work they've been doing with a power point presentation. Then a more specific conversation from each of the two structural engineers on the call about their work.
Followed on by a presentation by myself of my work history, myself and previous projects. Relevant technical and non technical questions on my past work projects and experience.
Finally informal chat in both directions.

Sat down with head of structures and another director. Was relaxed atmosphere. Asked about my background, experience, what I look for in an employer, etc. Not really any technical questions. They seemed more concern about my personality, attitude, and ambitions. I did provide a portfolio of projects I've worked on which seemed to have come across well.
