I applied in-person. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Burger King (Fort Walton Beach, FL) in Oct 2019
Interview
The interview was performed on time and in a professional manor. This was a second interview and I was informed that they do not hire GM's. They train them from an assistant MGR. position after training which makes very good sense.
This particular franchise used questionnaires from ancient times to conduct interviews. Was both refreshing and frustrating. Questions like tell me about a time you disagreed with a policy. Easy enough to answer but the problems with this company/franchise is that they are unwilling to pay well and will tell you to your face that they pay horrible. Looking at the crew and shift leader pay a this franchise is scary. How can people live of of that? The hours offered were strict ridged and were unchangeable according to the person I interviewed with.
I applied online. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at Burger King (Columbus, OH) in Mar 2018
Interview
I had 2 phone interviews and an in-person interview with the district manager. They asked me about my work history and education and experience. It is important to not give bland answers and use details and examples when answering questions.
