I always wanted to work for a company such as Bumble, an app I actually know very well and have used for years before finding my current partner. I went through 3 wonderful interviews, first with the recruiter then two more with the advertising team. The interviewers asked me to even connect with them on LinkedIn and I received complete positive feedback. The process lasted around 1 month from initial recruiter conversation to the third one. Afterwards I emailed the recruiter multiple times thanking him and the team, almost two months have gone by after following up around 4-5 times over weeks and yet no response whatsoever... I was told during the first conversation they ensure full transparency regarding whether they wanted to proceed or not, however I was essentially ghosted with no response whatsoever from any of the team members. Being excited for a role I have thrived in for 10+ years for a company I have used as a consumer myself, the positive feedback from the team, and having that assurance from the recruiter that I would not be left in the dark nor ghosted made me feel very secure. However, it does not seem that was the case or a priority on their end especially after reading other reviews... I truly hope the current team can learn from the past mistakes during the process and how being left in the dark is very disrespectful and hurtful to candidates.
