Very Normal. They do a good job at outlining your duties and making sure you're comfortable with the hours. The ask about writing/research background. what areas of interest you have, etc. It is much more of a conversation than scary interview

Applied online. Process was pretty bumpy. First interview was with a manager which went well and was as you would expect for an interview (how did you hear about us, tell us about your work history, why do you want to work here, etc). Then I had to take a test to evaluate my writing and analysis ability. It's "proctored" which basically means sending an email to contact and saying "I'm ready". She was incredibly late to email me the test and then didn't respond to questions. I was working full-time at the time so I showed up to work very early to take the test and then start my work day. By the time I was given the test, my work day was about to start. Very unprofessional to establish a test time, then have a proctor start the exam late and not answer questions in a timely manner.
