I applied through an employee referral. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Builders Mutual Insurance (Raleigh, NC) in Jul 2017
Interview
There is first a phone interview with human resources in which you introduce yourself, give your work experience and talk about your skills and studies. If you pass the phone interview you are contacted for a personal interview with management of the department you are applying for and human resources, the interview is behavioral based.
Interview process can be quite lengthy, especially if they are interviewing candidates for future positions.
Phone screening, 1:1 with HR Partner, panel interview. Panel is very nice, situational questions to be answered in STAR format.

Interview
I applied to an opening on the company website. I was then contacted via email by a recruiter to set up a phone interview with one of the team leads at the company. The phone interview was about 15-20 minutes long with great, challenging questions. A few days later I was contacted again by the recruiter to come in for a face-to-face interview. There were 5 people who were interviewing me in a room asking a variety of specific scenario based questions. After the interview I was offered the chance to shadow what I would be doing which I thought was a really great touch because you got the chance to see exactly what you would be doing. I was contacted shortly after that with the offer and accepted it the next day. Overall great interview experience and I could tell the company really takes hiring seriously.
