Interview
The interview process was great. The recruiter was extremely responsive and got me through the interview process extremely quickly and was extremely flexible with my schedule. I had an initial call with a SWE at the company that was more relaxed talking about my technical background and info about the technical problems that buildzoom was currently solving. The second round was a typical technical coding interview with Karat.io that involved standard data structures and algorithm questions. The final round was with the VP of Engineering and was a technical call that focused on software engineering principals. Overall I think if you are a strong SWE then you will excel in this interview process.

Interview
The whole interview process is very rude.
The HR reached out by asking me to send a calendar invite.
The first interview was a 15 min phone call from HR. The phone call got delayed 2 times. I spent 1 hour and 20 minutes in total waiting for their call with no explanation or apology.
The second round is an online code challenge, feels like LeetCode medium level.
Then the third round was a video call with a technical question. They asked me an infrastructure design question and emphasized on database design, which is totally not on my resume. Failed to answer the first question and the guy immediately turned off the shared screen of that question and said I'm not a good fit, bye bye.
