I applied in-person. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Buffalo Exchange (San Francisco, CA) in Dec 2015
Interview
I was actually offered the job while I was selling my clothes at this location. I had a pleasant conversation with the buyer, who turned out to be the Assistant manager. She was impressed with my personable attributes and the fact that she took in 80% of my inventory. She immediately handed me a application and within a week, I was called in for an interview.

Question 1
They had me do an exercise where I had to select clothes for inventory from a pile and explain why I would and would not purchase that item for the store.
3 rounds. 1st round you are assigned a rack in the store and have to select 6 items, 3 you think will move fast and 3 you think won't. 2nd is a standard interview. 3rd is a reference check and a pricing quiz.
easy, very average interviews but had to do 3 rounds of interviews which was time consuming and seemed like overkill for the job and unnecessary but what ever. managers were super nice and I liked their company mission
There were 3 interviews. First, an informal interview. For the next interview I was quizzed on current styles for men and women. At the final interview I was offered the job
