First step is to send the resume, Cover Letter and Writing Samples (+ references if possible -> this makes a difference). Then if positive they invite you to an online interview with 4/5 interviewers between HR and Senior Researchers.

I was asked to conduct an online Zoom interview with two members of the research team, each in different offices. Friendly interview, did not seem very well-coordinated, questions were standard, both about my past experience and interest in the job, requirements for the job.

I sent my CV and covering letter and got an invitation for a phone interview like after 2 months, the interview went very well, they asked me a lot about my master's thesis, very technical questions, after a week or two they offer me the position to start after 2 months

The questions were very technical and critic towards my master's thesis, it could have been challenging if not because of the fact that I had just finished working on my thesis that month and a knew all the details about it
