Interview
I got messed around a little by brookland trading. I applied online and was contacted by 2 different people both asking the same questions. I sent a email asking questions regarding the interview process and all they kept saying was can you send your cv. So after sending it 5 times I called them. They told me I had to do a interview and if i was happy with it also a days training. I called and said my interview is at 3pm. How can I then go on and do a days training. She said it is a days training that takes about 2 hours... I gave up asking then because she just didn't have a clue what I was saying.
We go in to a room where they explain everything which seems basic enough and ask if your happy. Which I was. She started talking about potential earnings. Now these figures are just not achievable at all. They talk big figures to attract you but you cannot earn what they say. Plus they always question the commision. There is always something they don't want to pay.
They won't stick to there own rules. If you sign up a client just pay the commission for it... What's the problem with that!!!! They give you a nice flight box to carry all the paperwork around but make you sign a document that says if you don't return it they will charge you £500.00 which is fine if it's worth that but at most it's £100!
You also need to sign some disclosure which explains that you want go behind there back if you leave. Which I think is because anyone can do this. These charge a fee for something that can be done for free!
Then your not told what to say or what to do. Your sent out on your own. I thought I would perhaps go with another surveyor for maybe 1 or 2 appointments but no.
So after 2 weeks with putting in invoices and no payment and being passed around from person to person. I gave up. They wasn't sending me on appointments. I was lucky to get 3 a week at this point. And I was good at signing businesses up but they just wasn't paying the money.
