I applied online and within a few days was interviewed via phone by HR. The next week, I had 2nd and 3rd interviews within 2 days of each other, so the process was moving quickly at first. I felt great about the job after the 2nd interview, but the 3rd interview was with someone who seemed bored and overworked and she mostly commented on how many interviews she had to do. She was not the main person I was supposed to talk to but was apparently filling in for that manager and was vague about when that manager would be returning, which gave me a bad feeling that things weren't necessarily stable there among the management. Even so, I asked about next steps and was told it would be with the CEO. After a couple of weeks with no further information (yep- ghosted!), I finally received a generic rejection from their system. This was in spite of having already been in contact with HR and having that recruiter's personal email. Still got ghosted after 3 interviews and got an impersonal rejection. Left a bad taste in my mouth for this company and how they treat candidates, so probably is best to avoid them, especially if you are a writer. I was told by the bored interviewer that the CEO is rigid when it comes to remote work and that she couldn't promise that they would even be able to continue to work remotely on Fridays as was the case at the time I interviewed.
