I applied through a recruiter. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Broadcom (Cambridge, England) in Dec 2011
Interview
I was approached by an external recruiter cooperating with the company, who organized phone interviews, traveling and the face to face interview. The telephone interview lasted about an hour, half of the time I was introduced to the company by a manager, the other half were questions about motivation, skills, background and career aspirations. The second interview in the office was mostly concerned with technical details and questions, also included a programming test.
