recently interviewed for an ESOL teacher position with the British Council. The interview was conducted by two managers who asked standard questions about my teaching abilities and experiences. Despite this, I was left disappointed as I never received any feedback or outcome from the interview.
After the interview, I tried to follow up multiple times via email but was completely ghosted. The issue was compounded by the fact that I wasn't given any direct contact details for the interviewers. Instead, I was provided with the contact of an outsourced HR representative in India, making communication even more difficult and frustrating.
This lack of communication and transparency has left me with a negative impression of the British Council's hiring process.
