Bright Point International Financial interview questions

There were 2 rounds of interview. 1st was a visual interview and after which f2f meeting with a panel of interviewer which includes a situation test. At the end of the f2f session, hiring asked me what is my expected salary. My reply was "depends on the budget on the role". Straight away, hiring say our budget is up to $a. My response to them was "oh it was much lower then it was advertise". Hiring then said "We did not indicate the range when we posted the role". In my reply I quoted them a job portal that I applied from says otherwise. The panel was STUNNED when I mentioned that cos clearly the $a is way lower then the range that was advertised black and white in the job portal. Wanna lowball oso no need like that la.
