I applied through an employee referral. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Bright Horizons Family Solutions (Atlanta, GA) in Feb 2016
Interview
First they ask you to fill out a simple written sample such as what you would like the parents in the class to know about you (previous experience, qualification, etc.). I was interviewed by the assistant director. She asked basic questions about communication with parents, classroom management, how would you solve a conflict with a parent and if you were familiar with the BH curriculum. If you've ever worked in a classroom before, this is a super easy interview for you.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
How are you time management skills (in regard to portfolios)?
It was an hour long, which included a tour of the place. The interview was with two people, the director and assistant director. They asked questions about experience and how you would navigate certain situations in the classroom.
I applied online. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Bright Horizons Family Solutions in Jun 2024
Interview
They asked many early childhood education related questions and were very friendly. However, I wish that they would’ve just declined giving me an in-person interview and told me that I didn’t pass the interview instead of asking for my schedule, saying their schedule was full and that they’d call me back after checking in with the facility on what day would be best to get me in for an in-person interview, and then never calling me back. Feels very unprofessional.
