Initial phone screening was SO bad. Recruiter was a couple minutes late, which is forgivable. Drove the conversation in a particular direction first giving a high level overview about the company, stopping to ask if I had questions about the company. Gave a high-level overview of the role, then stopped to ask if I had any questions about the role. Asked about my experience, wasn't listening because my current role has everything to with training and the recruiter later asked if I did any training in my current position. Went on to say next steps, rushing to get me off the phone before I was able to ask any big picture questions that were very important to me. Recruiter followed up a few days later, explaining that the reason I was turned down was because I didn't have any app building experience. I followed up asking for serious clarification as this is a training/enablement and nowhere in the job rec did it mention anything about app building experience. The response was "yes you read the job description correctly, it was a new revelation." I was dumbfounded and am still at a loss for words. I can clearly see how disorganized their hiring process is and even after I hung up from the call I started second guessing if this would be a good fit.
