Application
I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at BrandBastion (Toronto, ON) in Aug 2023
Interview
Technical recruiter reached out to interview for role. Had a 30 minute intensive virtual first interview. They ask you tons of questions to assess your background and culture fit. Also what salary you're aiming for.

Question 1
What's one thing you would change about your current role?
Started with a screening call, an interview with the CSM Lead, a task with the CSM Lead and a CSM and then a chat with the CEO. The CEO chat was told to be moreso culture fit but felt more of another stage interview to answer in STAR format. I would say the team seemed amazing, particulary the team lead, but the CEO was extremely cold and judgemental

Question 1
How would you be able to work with leaders like Netflix, Red Bull
I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at BrandBastion (Portugal) in Oct 2023
Interview
First interview-recruiter had very average questions, he seemed that he wanted to rush everything quickly and he literally asked ''how much money are you asking for''. He did give more details about the company and replied to all of my questions. After that I got a task, which I sent back and then 3 next weeks nothing. After 3 weeks finally I get email that I will have interview with CEO, nobody mentioning the task. On the day of the interview CEO canceled the interview and said she will suggest new timing in next few days. After 2 weeks finally she sends time slots. Had an interview with her, was not impressed at all, she even said that it takes them 3 to 4 months to hire someone. She said they will update me in the upcoming week, but they never did. I even sent the email one month ago but never heard of them anymore.
Imagine all the time I invested in this process. A company specialized in brand management, yet not caring for its own brand and candidate experience.
Extremely unprofessional and horrible.
