Beware! The issue/challenge is not the interview process as the process is fairly straight forward. The issue with the current leadership is one of poor business ethics and clarity. As example, lets say that the role was communicated as a role with a base salary of $100,000 (an example). Then when the offer was made, the hiring manager used fuzzy math by stating that the "Base" salary was actually a 70/30 split of the communicated offer. That meant that the "Guaranteed" base salary was $70,000 with MBOs or KPIs equal to $30,000. In my view this was a "Bait and Switch" move on the part of the company or Hiring Manager plain and simple. My advice would be to avoid this company under the current sales leadership unless you simply have "no" other options and you are in the "any port in a storm" scenario.
