Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. We’re genuinely sorry that the interview left you with a negative impression. We expect every interaction to be courteous and professional, and we’re reinforcing this with our team. If our tone came across as anything less than respectful, we sincerely apologize.
By way of context, the role was for a Technical Recruiter. As part of the assessment, we ask role-relevant questions about sourcing IT talent (e.g., using LinkedIn Recruiter) and a few light calibration questions on common tech terms or versions (for example, Java) to ensure candidates can comfortably engage with hiring managers and engineers. These are not developer exams, but brief checks to confirm familiarity with the landscape a technical recruiter works in.
We understand you did not wish to continue with the technical portion of the conversation and chose to end the call. We respect your decision, and we’re sorry the process did not meet your expectations on this occasion.
We appreciate your feedback; it helps us improve candidate experience and interviewer coaching. We wish you every success in your career and, if you’d ever like to discuss this further or explore non-technical recruiting opportunities in the future, we’d be happy to connect.
