The interview process was a bit long and complex. I had an interview with the hiring coordinator, who also instructed me to schedule in-person interviews with four other members of the leadership team during about a one week time. After those, I was told I was needed to schedule an additional 2 more in person interviews, as well as a phone interview with an international collaborator. The phone interview fell through. The entire interview process took about 3 weeks and then I waited an additional 2 and a half weeks to hear anything about the position, and was under the impression that if I was offered the job I would have an additional 4 week waiting period to interview with HR and complete the necessary paperwork. Going in, I was told the entire process should only take about a little over a month. However, all in all, it was over 6 weeks before I received a rejection. Everyone I spoke to about the position was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and made the interview seem very relaxed and comfortable. I am very grateful for the opportunity to interview and definitely view it as a great learning experience, but, looking back, it was a bit of a drawn out process.
