I applied through a recruiter. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Booking.com in Oct 2022
Interview
I was approached on LinkedIn by the recruiter, conversation went nice and easy. She said she’ll be back with the feedback, but she didn’t. After 3,5 weeks another recruiter from the company calls me to share the feedback that they progressed with the more senior candidate and not me. Not smooth candidate experience, long response time and a bit confusing. I wouldn’t be interested to work there.

I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Booking.com (Amsterdam) in Aug 2017
Interview
Interviewer missed the call 3 times. Basically a waste of time, just like their app and website. Never received an apology and still wondering if my interviewer is alive.
There will be a day when people stop using Booking.com to book in rooms while travelling, when they realize this service is close to pointless.
There will be a day when their HR realize they are as useful as that service.
