I was first scheduled for a phone screening with a person from the human resource department. Shortly after that, I was invited for a one-hour phone interview with the hiring manager (Product Marketing Manager).
The hiring manager used a good half of the interview time to talk about the company and the work they were doing. While it was definitely worthwhile to get some background information, it left me with little time to speak about my experience and basically get my message across.
After that I haven't heard of them for about 3 weeks despite a couple of follow-ups by email and by phone. When I finally got a hold of the recruiter, I got to hear that I had no strategic vision!
