      Application

I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at BookBub (New York, NY) in Mar 2021

      Interview

The first stage in the process is a phone interview. I had a pleasant conversation with the interviewer. The call lasted about 30 minutes- 20+ minutes for interviewing and less than 10 minutes for questions.

      Application

I applied online. I interviewed at BookBub

      Interview

Phone interview was pretty standard. I was surprised because even though I had experience in the publishing industry didn't make it to the next round of the hiring process, a disappointment.

      Rotational Development Program Interview

      21 Dec 2019
      Anonymous interview candidate
      No offer
      Positive experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at BookBub in Nov 2019

      Interview

After I submitted my online application, I was called by a current associate in the program who screened me on the phone for about 30 minutes, then I was given a take-home assignment, then I was moved on to the Google Hangouts round where I talked to four people in 3 hours, after that I was not moved on in the process. They emailed me back saying they want people with more experience (possibly in tech, publishing, etc.) which is interesting given that this is an entry-level position.

      Question 1

      Why BookBub?

      Question 2

Why are you applying to a rotational development program in contrast to a normal entry-level analyst or associate position?

      Question 3

Tell me about a time when you’re a leader. What would you do differently now?
