I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Bonnier (Stockholm, Stockholm) in May 2022
Interview
Just one interview with HR & Team leader. I got to make a sales pitch which I presented for the Team leader. Got a call a few days later with an offer.
I applied in-person. I interviewed at Bonnier in Oct 2025
Interview
Worst interview ever, unprofessional!
1.5h unstructured interview, no introduction to the company, no offer of water or coffee, just continuous questioning. Questions that didn’t seem relevant to a Data & BI Analyst role, such as:
“What should you think about when launching a product?”
“If a product is sold but not used, what would you do?”
Sorry? what do these questions have to do with data /BI analst?
Afterward, I have been asked to write SQL code without showing any dataset, table overview, or background information. This made the task confusing and unstructured. During this part, it's been mentioned that they had to leave for another meeting, which added pressure and made the session feel rushed and poorly organized.
No presentation, company overview, or case material was provided — reading questions from screen while others was just sitting there looking at me or busy with computer. When I started the SQL task, they even seemed unsure of the data structure, suggesting several wrong columns before finding the correct one.
Overall, the process lacked structure, preparation, and professionalism.

Question 1
What should you think about when launching a product?
If a product is sold but not used, what would you do?
Terrible. No competence across the IT department who is afraid of hiring people with more experience than themselves. They do not know what they are doing and are afraid to admit it. Avoid for your own sanity.
