I applied online. The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at Bombas
Interview
I applied to Bombas for a remote position and was initially screened by Torrey, their Talent Acquisition leader, who was a pleasure to speak to, very positive and encouraging person. Then I had a 30-min call with the hiring manager, and later 3 hours of group interviews via Zoom. Several of the team members I interviewed with seemed disinterested or not fully informed about what the position I was interviewing exactly entailed, but the majority went well and overall it seemed promising. After all that, I received no further communication until I followed up a couple weeks later and was told the position was filled. They did email me a $30 site credit immediately after the 3-hour marathon, but the lack of communication after all the time I dedicated rubbed me the wrong way, especially for a company the espouses its mission and culture so strongly.
