Got a ping on LinkedIn from one of the Boeing HR stating they were hiring for multiple roles and shared the list of opportunities, I applied online per process and post 2 weeks I got a call from India HR for scheduling a telephonic round interview, there were 5 guys on the phone including the hiring manager, they questioned me on few of the projects and work that I had mentioned on my resume and within next few days I was informed I had cleared the telephone interview and the hiring manager wanted to have a face to face interview out of the Boeing Bangalore office. I went in for the face to face interview - which Boeing calls as structured interview process for about 1hour. The next day after the interview process I was asked to submit my present companies pay slips, later comp letter and they mentioned they were comp. review of all the selected candidates and they would get back within a week, after multiple follow up’s, finally after two weeks the HR comes back stating that my application is kept on hold and will be considered for future opportunities.
The India HR guy was totally useless and was not having any decision making powers, nether he was very clear with the communication what he received the higher management; he was just dodging calls and hardly responded to emails. The overall interview was okay but was not sure how the selection process is when they did not have any deep technical rounds/questions. I believe it was eyewash and total waste of time.
