had a great experience throughout the interview process at Bluestone. The technical interview with Joel was well-structured and engaging — it focused on real-world scenarios rather than abstract theory, which made the conversation feel relevant and practical. Joel created a collaborative environment that made it easy to think through challenges together.
The final stage with Martin (CRO) was a standout. He was clear, insightful, and genuinely interested in both my background and how I could contribute to the broader business strategy. The discussion gave me confidence in the leadership and direction of the company.
Overall, the process was smooth, professional, and respectful of my time. Every step reinforced that Bluestone values both technical excellence and cultural fit — which made it an easy decision to want to be part of the team.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
They asked how I would identify a delinquency issue and what steps I’d take to reduce it. It was a practical, forward-looking question that really aligned with the role — focused on using data to understand the root causes and then designing strategies to proactively manage and lower delinquency.
They added a surprise extra round and then ghosted me after I shared with them (in confidence) that I was pregnant.
Otherwise, the process was quite streamlined and I met with key members of the team, who seemed polite and friendly.
