Phone interview with the person I would be reporting to and a in-person interview two weeks after. The in-person interview lasted around an hour. The interviewer asked questions on my experience and a banal question of "where do you see yourself in 5 years". What was a bit awkward was the interviewer picking up his phone and texting away while I was answering his questions. That was another sign that perhaps this place wasn't as well suited as I hoped. I was asked what my salary expectations were and was told that their range wasn't as high, I said it was negotiable. During the in person interview, I was asked again by one of the owners and only received a head nod, but no further details if it was agreeable or not. I was told by the interview that he will follow-up with but have not heard back. As this is not much of a surprise to me and most likely a better outcome in the long run.
