I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at BlueCrest (Danbury, CT)
Interview
Initially it was a phone call screening from human resources. They asked me about my experience and technical questions about my knowledge. I answered all their questions. I actually have twice the number of years of experience that the job required. I could have easily picked up where the last person left off. After some time passed, I was advised that they decided to go with someone "with more experience". When I questioned that, they awkwardly stumbled over their words, trying to figure out what to say. It is obvious I was passed up because of my age, and that this company does NOT value skilled experienced workers. It us their loss. People like me work diligently and are reliable, as well as efficient in the completion of tasks.

Question 1
They asked me various technical accounting questions, such as revenue recognition.
I applied online. The process took 5 weeks. I interviewed at BlueCrest in Mar 2022
Interview
Everyone in the process was really great and super easy going. Really great opportunity in tech as they are cloud first. Four rounds of interviews with various organizational folks that ended with a waiting game that I was unwilling to engage in.
In the end they said I had done four rounds and that they were still looking at other candidates. Everyone was nice enough and some will think it crass, but if you are not sure if someone is the right hire after four rounds then you’re just not that interested in a candidate.
