Extremely distasteful and unprofessional experience!
Applied for the the open Account Executive role through LinkedIn. Was contacted by the CEO Konstatin via Linkedin Messenger expressing how he was impressed by my background and wanted to schedule a first call interview with me.
We scheduled a call and met 3 days later which ended up resulting in the most disrespectful and distasteful interview I've ever been apart of. The CEO Konstatin opened up the interview by asking me to walk him through my background. After doing so he said that he didn't want to waste my time continuing the interview due to the fact that I had worked at too many companies before. Not only was my time wasted by preparing for this interview all weekend and setting time aside to meet with him but also shocked that was his response given the fact he was the one that reached out after reviewing my background? First time in my professional sales career that was I was not considered for a role without even being asked one question about how my experience is applicable to finding success in the role that was being advertised.
Extremely frustrating experience to be apart of but glad that I dodged this bullet, would of been a nightmare to work for.
The standard interview process with first round, mock pitch and then final offer. Everyone was very accommodating and the information provided was adequate to succeed in the mock pitch. Met with multiple people along the way including AE's to CEO.
